Tripadvisor comments Serian Nkorombo Mobile Camp

This was our first time at this camp and I am so glad we chose it for another one of our safaris this time. The location is incredible on the shore of the famous Mara River. Although a small camp, the beauty of it and the service given by their experienced and thoughtful staff is amazing, Moses and his people just cannot do enough for you. The food is excellent and everything ran like a clock there. Going to sleep at night with the sounds of the river and it's hippos puts the cap on it. We also had a wonderful experienced guide whose name is James Kipetu. We learned so much from him even though we have been on Safari before. He works very hard to get you the photos you came for and we also learned a lot about Masai life and history. Ask for him if you can. If you are going to Kenya on Safari, put this camp at the top of your list!!

We stayed for 2 nights at Serian's and wished we stayed for longer. The camp is perfectly is situated on the river with pods of hippos right outside the tents. It is a spectacular location and would be excellent for the crossing in late July/August. We were a bit early for the migration in our trip but we still had an excellent time. Our guides Mark and William were brilliant and very knowledgeable, from them we learned a lot about the area and the Maasai culture. Moses and his whole team at the camp were lovely and took such great care of us from start to finish. We loved our time there and would definitely recommend this camp!
